I designed these large “blooming” forms that utilize the beetle-kill timber of the area, as forms that draw the visitors attention up towards the sky and the mountains creating the valley that this park is situated in. Gregg Barrie, architect for the Town of Vail, took this design to base the new playground off. Fabricated by Plumb Kendall Contractors and Vail's Public Works, this playground is now open to be enjoyed.
